Providone-Iodine Sterile Swabsticks (Box of 50)

Dynarex Povidone Iodine (PVP) Swabs are packaged individually. Dynarex PVP Swabs are ideal for removing dead skin, oil and dirt from skin to ensure effectiveness of in skin preparation.

Dynarex Swabsticks have an applicator swab on one end of the shaft. The Povidone Iodine is ideal for venipuncture, IV starts, renal dialysis and pre-op prepping, prep for blood donors, dialysis, and skin antiseptic.

The Swabsticks and scrubsticks contain 10 percent povidone iodine solution similar to Betadine.

Povidone iodine is a broad spectrum microbicide that destroys microbial protein and DNA. It has excellent in vitro antimicrobial activity and is indicated for preoperative preparation of the periocular region (lids, brow, cheek) and irrigating the ocular surface.
